Terry’s Legacy - MISSION STATEMENT

Terry's Legacy is inspired by Terry Graul, who championed tirelessly to improve the lives of people with disabilities. 

 

We provide grants to individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries in the Berks County area, to complete home modifications making independent living a reality.

We will do our very best to understand the needs of those with spinal cord injuries and the constant obstacles that they face.  We will strive to make a difference in these individuals’ lives, and enable them to impact the lives of others in their community, much the same way that Terry did.

We embrace and integrate accountability into everything we do, individually and collectively, to honor our commitments and the reputation of Terry’s Legacy. We take responsibility for our performance in all of our decisions and actions.

Adaptability / Flexibility

We are open to other points of view, understanding that good ideas can come from anywhere. In serving those with disabilities, we must maintain awareness of their changing needs and be willing to adapt to and take advantage of the latest designs, tools, and technologies.

The IRS has determined that "Terrys Legacy" is exempt from federal income tax under IRS Section 501(c)(3).  Donors can deduct contributions they make to Terrys Legacy under IRC Section 170. 

​

We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2044, 2106, or 2522.  Our Tax ID number is 87-1526455
