Terry’s Legacy - VISION STATEMENT
Inspiring and assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve independence in a changing world.
Terry’s Legacy - MISSION STATEMENT
Terry's Legacy, a Foundation of Hope, is inspired by Terry Graul, who championed tirelessly to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Our mission is to provide opportunities to individuals with spinal cord injuries in the Berks County and surrounding area, to enable them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
Terry's Legacy shall seek to provide equipment, accessible technologies, services, knowledge, and support so that awardees can address their health needs and access educational and employment opportunities. We believe these are among the critical elements necessary to achieving an independent life.
Terry’s Legacy – Core Values
We believe that honesty is the cornerstone for our success. We treat Terry’s Legacy members, partners, stakeholders, and clients with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
We are steadfast in our commitment to improving the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries and laser-focused in our desire to make Terry’s Legacy a successful organization, and to achieve its vision and mission.
We will do our very best to understand the needs of those with spinal cord injuries and the constant obstacles that they face. We will strive to make a difference in these individuals’ lives, and enable them to impact the lives of others in their community, much the same way that Terry did.
We embrace and integrate accountability into everything we do, individually and collectively, to honor our commitments and the reputation of Terry’s Legacy. We take responsibility for our performance in all of our decisions and actions.
Adaptability / Flexibility
We are open to other points of view, understanding that good ideas can come from anywhere. In serving those with disabilities, we must maintain awareness of their changing needs and be willing to adapt to and take advantage of the latest designs, tools, and technologies.
